摘　　要：信用证(LetterofCredit简称L/C)是现在商业发展需要而非法律制度的产物,信用证平衡了买卖双方的风险负担而成为最受欢迎的一种支付方式,在国际支付中起到了不能取代的作用。严格相符(strictcompliance)是信用证法律关系中一项独特的基本原则。在司法实践和商业实践中具有极高的指导意义。本文将结合案例从实质相符和程序相符两个方面讨论严格相符的条件。letter of credit is not the legal product but the need of commercial development.Because it balances the burden between buyers and sellers and becomes a popular instrument of payment.Strict compliance is a basic principle in letter of credit.It is meaningful for the practice in justice and commerce.The paper discusses the qualification of strict compliance in terms of essential compliance and process compliance.
