摘　　要：概括介绍UML,并以餐饮业自动服务系统为例,利用UML进行面向对象分析与设计的过程。主要通过几种图形来分析应用UML进行软件开发的过程。描述了用例图和活动图如何来获得系统的需求,用类图如何描述系统的对象及对象间的关系,用顺序图描述这些相关联的对象是如何通过交互来实现用例的。In this paper UML was introduced briefly. Then an example -the automatic service system was build to study the process of object-oriented analysis and design using the UML and display how to use the UML in the software development. The example described software development process using UML by several diagrams. System requirement was gotten by use -case diagram and activity diagram. Class diagram described the system object and the relation. Sequence diagram described how the relational object realized use case by interaction.
