摘　　要：在对汽车制动过程理论分析的基础上,建立了实用安全跟车距离计算模型。以此模型为基础,提出了系统设计方案;采用激光雷达探测自车与前车的距离,采用各种传感器收集行车环境信息,并且通过工控计算机来处理这些信息。Based on the theoretical analysis on brake process of automobiles, the calculation model of practical safe following distance is set up. Then the design blue print of the system is brought forward according to the model. Laser radar is applied to measure the distance between own car and front car, and several sensors are used to collect the information of driving circumstance and then the information will be analyzed by an operational computer.
