摘　　要：在社会主义市场经济迅猛发展的形势下,高等学校“加强基础”仍是培养优秀人才的重要措施之 一。自1998年起,上海理工大学开始在入学新生中组建基础加强班,实施因材教育并取得了良好效果。Under the development of socialism marketization economy, strengthening basic courses of study is still one of mast important measures to develop outstanding graduates in colleges and universities. University of Shanghai for Science and Technology has selected some students among first-year students to constitute a class named basic-course-strengthened class and taught these students in accordance with their aptitude in order to fully improve their comprehensive quality since 1998. After graduation these students are warmly welcomed by societies .
