摘　　要：英语写作教学中教师往往疲于批阅学生作文中的拼写和语法错误.将计算机辅助写作方法引入教学过程可望改变这一局面.文字处理器可使学生能够对自己的作文进行拼写和语法检查,还可显示出数字统计和可读性评估结果;但文字处理器的一些功能非常简陋甚至谬误.句法分析器的应用有望为解决语法检查问题提供一种较好的方法.Instructors of ESL composition often find themselves wearied correcting spelling and grammatical errors. The introduction of CAI into the writing process may relieve them from the dilemma. Word processors enable the student to check the spelling, grammar as well as indicate the readability and statistics. However, some of the functions can be flawed, the results misleading. Hopefully, the application of parsers can be a better way of solving the problem of grammar check.
