摘　　要：本文介绍了凯瑟琳·曼斯菲尔德的生平和写作历程,探讨了她创作一系列以新西兰为背景的短篇小说的动机和原由;并通过分析《序曲》和《在海湾》的景物描写,揭示出隐藏在她作品背后浓浓的乡愁。The paper has briefly introduced the life story and writing experience of Katherine Mansfield, and probed into the series of New Zealand tales to find out her tender feelings to New Zealand of her childhood. Based on a detailed analysis of her description of nature in Prelude and At the Bay, the paper has suggested that an overtone of homesickness be sensed in her lines.
