《北直农话报》传入的西方农学及其科技传播学意义

摘　　要：试图运用科技传播学方法,重新认识《北直农话报》的农林学术内容、学术价值和在全国所处的地位。认为:该刊为清末学堂所办仅有的两份农学期刊之一和中国北方旱作农业区创办最早的综合性农学刊物;它是中国近现代经由日本传入西方农学这一历史过程的见证;其传入的西方农学具有新的系统性,特别是关于西方啤酒酿造技术、北美水稻生产技术、日本科学选种法等科学实验方法和俄国农业教育体制,以及农作引种、制造、展览和蚕桑、植树造林等实践,在农林科学技术的西学东渐中具有首创性。The research methods in sci-tech spreading are used to re-appreciate the agro-forestry contents, academic values and social position of the Journal of Beizhi Agricultural Science. It is concluded that this journal is one of the only two agricultural journals published by Chinese colleges in late Qing Dynasty, and is the earliest agricultural journal in the dry farming regions of North China. The journal is confirmed as a withess of the introduction process of agricultural sciences from western countries to China through Japan in modern times. The introduced agricultural sciences are found to be systematized, especially in the technologies of beer-making in the West, rice production in North America, seed selection in Japan. It also introduced systematically the agricultural education systems of russia, together with the pracices of crop introduction, manufacture, exhibition, sericulture, silviculture, etc. Therefore, the journal, Beizhi Agricultural Science, stood as the pioneer in agro-forestry technology introduction from western countries to China.
