摘　　要：认为创设学科馆员是高校图书馆有效地开展信息服务的新举措,阐述了学科馆员的含义、建立学科馆员制度的必要性、学科馆员的职能和学科馆员的素质要求。Establishing subject librarians is a new measure for university libraries to develop information services. The article makes some discussion on the definition of subject librarian , the necessity of developing subject librarian, the functions of subject librarian , and the quality demands of subject librarian .
