摘　　要：构建社会主义和谐社会对高校提出了新的更高要求。大学生的特殊地位和作用决定了他们将要在 构建社会主义和谐社会、全面推进建设小康社会中发挥巨大作用。如何加强大学生的素质教育,培养他们良 好的责任意识、诚信意识和奉献精神,使他们承担起全面建设小康社会、构建社会主义和谐社会的历史重担, 是摆在高校面前亟待解决的一个问题。To build a harmonious socialist society raises new higher demand for universities. The special position and condition of university students decides the great achievement they will exert in the course of building a harmonious socialist society and overwhelmingly accelerating the well-off society. All universities have to deal with problems including :how to strengthen the quality education of university students? How to fost their awareness of taking responsibility, credit and dedication so that they could take the historical tasks of building a harmonious socialist society and overwhelmingly accelerating the well-off society.
