摘　　要：由于各种原因,长期以来大学英语口语教学质量一直不尽如人意,本文试图探讨开展课堂辩论对提高口语教学质量的促进作用,并通过详细的组织步骤体现出课堂辩论的优势,从而有效地提高学生的英语口语水平。The quality of oral English teaching has not been achieved a satisfying level in a long period owing to several reasons. So this paper attempts to discuss some approaches which have significant role on solving this problem through analyzing the effect, advantages, and process of organizing the in-class discussions.
