摘  要:简要介绍了F IR,IIR数字滤波器的特点,在此基础上应用基于自适应模型的L MS算法对F IR,IIR数字滤波器进行了系数综合,并通过Matlab6.5计算机仿真比较了不同抽头数时,两种类型滤波器效果的差别,给出了一些重要结论。从计算机仿真结果可以看出,当滤波器抽头数相同时,IIR滤波器具有更好的通带和阻带特性。而随着抽头数目的增加,FIR滤波器的性能可以得到很大改善。当抽头数目足够大时,两种滤波器性能趋于一致。值得指出的是,L MS算法用于F IR滤波器的计算量明显小于相同抽头数的IIR滤波器,因而收敛较快。In this paper,the FIR and IIR digital filter characteristics are introduced.Then,using LMS algorithm to accomplish the two filters′ synthesis,and the computer emulation using Matlab6.5 is presented to show the differences between them,when the number of tap-weight(viz.order of th filer) is changing.Some important conclusions are discussed.It can be found from the computer emulation that the IIR filter has the better passband and stopband characteristics than FIR filter with the same number of tap-weight.The performance of FIR wave filter can get great improvement as the number of tap-weight is increasing.And with a big enough one,two filters′performance will reach unanimity. It′s worth to propose the calculating amount of LMS algorithm which is used in FIR filter is obviously smaller than IIR filter with the same number of tap-weight,thus it gets convergence faster.
