摘　　要：老年性白内障是眼科的常见病。虽然已确定紫外线、电离辐射、化学制剂、糖尿病、高血压、家族性遗传倾向和体内生化异常均是导致白内障的危险因素。4 normal and 25 Senile cataractous human lenses at different parts were studied. It included pH protein content and IFE pattern of lenses. The reuslts are as follows; (1) Both the unsoluble proteins content and pH of cataract lenses were higher than those of normal ones. (2) IFE pattern of normal and senile cataract lenses protein were significantly different. The probable mechanism of senile cataract formation is briefly discussed.
