摘　　要：本文评述了有关第二语言形式的习得顺序、第二语言学习者对普遍语法是否可及、年龄对第二语言习得的影响和第二语言学习者是否能达到本族语水平等问题研究的新进展。其趋势是,重视对语言习得的认知解释,关注第二语言学习与第一语言习得的共性。The present paper discusses the new development of second language acquisition, such as its acquisition order, the accessibility of Universal Grammar, the influence of age and the possibility that second language learners can reach a native speaker＇s competence. It also points out its tendency：laying stress on the cognitive interpretation of language acquisfion,paying close attention to the similarities between the firist language acquisition and second language learning.
