摘　　要：随着现代企业信息环境的异构性、自治性、分布性越来越明显,基于广域网技术和分布式计算技术、支持企业之间及企业内部跨地域协作的分布式工作流系统成为工作流技术发展的必然趋势和当今研究的热点。论文介绍了事件驱动的分布式工作流技术并将其应用于一个医疗保险网络信息系统的设计,给出了一个医疗保险分布式工作流系统的模型架构,并结合具体业务流程对实现过程做了简要描述。Along with the heterogenicity,autonomy and distribution of modem enterprise information environment,the distributed workflow system,that supports distributed computing and collaboration among departments or enterprises，becomes the focus and future trend of workflow technology study，This paper introduces the technology of event-driven distributed workflow and applies it in the design of a medical insurance information system，A framework of medical insurance distributed workflow system is proposed and the implementation of a process instance is also described。
