活个轰烈 死个安详———朗费罗《人生颂》及《潮起又潮落》评析

摘　　要：朗费罗32岁时写成《人生颂》,这首充满阳刚之气、催人奋进的赞歌,给后人带来了极大的鼓励。他本人五十余年的讲坛、诗坛的实干苦干精神也给后人树立了光辉的榜样。在垂慕之年写成《潮起又潮落》,则表现了诗人超脱出荣耀光环,平静地接受死亡的博大胸怀。两首诗歌构成了诗人“活个轰烈,死个安详”的完整的人生观。A Psalm of Life, written by Longfellow when he was only 32, is a psalm that is full of masculine and inspiring spirit. It gives great encouragement to generation after generation. His over 50 year＇ s great efforts in teaching and writing also sets a fine example for all of us. However, when being old and death coming, he wrote The Tide Rises,The Tide Falls, expressing his broad mind of fleeing away from fame and glory and facing calmly the doming death. His whole view of life was thus formed by these two poems.
