摘　　要：对棒球的文化内涵与中国传统文化在以下方面做了比较对大自然的无比热爱及回归自然的强烈冲动;对乡土社会保有美好的回忆;家的无上重要性;强调行为过程的本身;英雄主义和各自对人生的影响。结果表明,二者的共通远远超出二者的差异,中国棒球联赛有令人鼓舞的文化前景,据此建议培养棒球明星运动员的2种途径。This paper conducts a comparative study on the cultural values of baseball and traditional Chinese culture on the following aspects：ardent love of and impulse for return to nature ;sweet memoir of the countryside ;great significance of home and family ;emphasis on the process of actions; individual heroism and baseball＇s philosophical impact on life, the findings show that the cultural values of baseball and traditional Chinese culture possess much more common ground than their few differences, therefore, the Chinese baseball league has a promising cultural prospect. It is suggested that two approaches be employed in order to raise domestic baseball stars.
