摘　　要：XML交互式电子技术手册(IETM)创作中,通过XML文档生成器,使用XML文档存储手册信息,以文档类型定义(DTD)定义XML文档标记,描述数据元素间的关系并验证文档有效性。文档生成器将DTD数据关系以树形结构读出,再按该结构输入数据,最后经文档对象模型(DOM)接口把树形结构组织的信息转化为XML文档。The navigation tree was adopted in application technology of XML-Based interactive electronic technical manual （IETM）. The step includes forming XML data document, using XSL to design the presentation format of XML document, combining XML document and XSL file,and building browsing page, browsing the data in Browser, The process involves four files： the data and structure of tree model,the XSL file of tree model, the spread of tree structure, and the presentation of tree structure in client end.
