摘　　要：DVB是数字视频广播标准,它采用MPEG-2传输流作为其传输层标准。将对应用于其系统中的RS(204,188)纠错编译码进行理论上的探讨,给硬件电路的设计与实现提供思路。DVB is the standard of digital video broadcasting , it takes the MPEG-2 transport stream as the standard of its transport layer. This paper will make a theoretical study of encoding and decoding of the RS（204,188） error - correcting code applied in the system , and this study will guide the design and implementation of circuit.
