摘　　要：口译材料的选择是英语专业口译课开设的关键之一。口译有一定的时效性,口译教学绝不能仅仅局限于使用一本现成的教材,还必须以培养、提高语言能力为核心,采用符合时代需要,有现实意义的补充材料,才能取得良好的效果。本文就此提出了一些建议。Interpretation is different from translation. Teaching of interpretation cannot be confined to one textbook because of the varied information of the society. We need interpreting material which is practical and meets the needs of the time. One key of interpreting teaching for English majors is the selection of interpreting material. In the paper, some suggestions are supplied as to how to choose interpreting material.
