摘　　要：为了适应进入新世纪后高等教育的发展形势,完成随之而来的学科教学和实验的改革,我院实验中心开展了面向信息化的实验改革与实践。在实验课程中融入信息技术,开展了虚拟实验,在理论课程和实验整合等方面进行了相关的工作,加强了学生信息技术能力的培养,解决了由于普通高校扩招后学生数量多和课程实验过分集中而不能满足实验教学的矛盾,探索了新的实验教学和运作模式。Abstract： The reform of theoretical and experimental courses is necessary so as to meet the requirements of higher education in the 21th century. Therefore, a new mode for experimental courses and operations is conducted at the Experimental Center, Faculty of Electromechanical Engineering, Guangdong University of Technology. In the mode, information technology is taken as the experi- mental methodology and virtual experiments are applied in a large number of experimental courses. In these ways, theoretical and experimental teaching is integrated and students＇ capability for the appliance of information technology is improved. Moreover, it overcomes the challenges of the rapid increase of students due to the enrollment expansion and the concentration of experimental courses.
