摘　　要：桌面视频会议系统通常由一台具有多媒体处理与通信功能的计算机系统与负责视音频编/解码的软硬件组成的实时通讯系统,由于不需要传统视频会议系统昂贵的硬件设备与线路租赁费用,因而具有成本低廉、使用方便的特点,越来越广泛地用于LAN、WAN、Internet上的远距离交流。利用桌面视频会议系统可以方便地架构双向互动的实时远程教学方式,在现代远程教育中有较广的应用前景。Desktop video conference system is real time communication systems composed of one computer system with multimedia modifications and communication functions as well as the cipher or decipher software and hardware in charge of video and audio frequencies.
