摘  要:介绍了微胶囊电泳显示技术的原理、微胶囊电泳显示器件的制备。阐述了高分子材料在制备微胶囊电泳显示材料和器件过程中的应用。重点说明了在这种新型的显示技术中颜料-聚合物复合粒子、微胶囊和塑料晶体管的应用。The principle, structure and fabrication of microencapsulated electrophoretic displays were introduced. The application of polymer materials in the preparation of microencapsulated electrophoretic displays and relative materials were indicated. Typical manufacturing techniques for polymer particles and pigment-polymer composite particles used as electrophoretic particles were illustrated. Three useful encapsulation processes, in situ polymerization, complex coacervation and interracial polymerization and the related polymer materials utilized in the preparation of the microcapsules were elucidated. In the fabrication of the display, various kinds of polymers can be used as binder for the purpose of supporting and protecting the microcapsules. In addition, the novel plastic transistors and related manufacturing techniques were also presented.
