摘　　要：流媒体技术的最大特点是边下载边播放,利用流媒体技术可以实现在Internet网上有效传输视音频信号。WindowsMedia,RealSystem,QuickTime这3大主流流媒体技术各有其特点。流媒体技术可广泛用于远程教育,功能灵活,形式多样。流媒体技术的发展趋势是形成统一标准。The most noticeable feature of streaming technology is synchronous playing-and-downloading. A/V files can be effectively transmitted on internet by using streaming technology. The three primary streaming technology, Windows Media, Real System and QuickTime all have unique features of their own. Streaming technology can be widely used in distance education with diversified functions and in various forms. The trend for streaming technology is to develop unified standards.
