摘　　要：英语语气语法范畴一直是英语语法界争论的焦点之一,本文在分析研究三种语气形式体系的基础上,根据语言学关于语法范畴的基本原理,提出英语不存在语气语法范畴的观点.The English grammatical category of the moods is one of the arguments that have been long debated among the English grammarians. On the basis of the analysis of the formalization of the three moods, this paper holds that the grammatical category of the moods does not exist according to the linguistic principles about the grammatical category.
