摘　　要：本文对国际二语写作研究的发展和现状作了简要的回顾，指出当前国际二语写作研究中“重二语轻外语”的现状．同时对当前二语写作研究的热点问题进行评述，呼吁我国外语教学研究加强外语环境下的二语写作研究．This paper provides an overview of the recent developments in the studies of the second language writing abroad. It consists of two parts： the first part reviews the current issues in L2 writing research, and the second part describes the directions of future studies. Finally, a few proposals were raised to enhance EFL writing research in China,
