摘　　要：“文本”是以版本的形态存在的。不能“但见其书有字即读”,只管“文本”不管“版本”。“版本”不等同于“版印之本”,“本”的种种问题几乎都来源于“版”。古代小说有其特殊性质,版本研究是古代小说研究的基础,也是对古代小说作出历史和审美评价的前提。A version exists in the form of an edition. We cannot read any book at hand only caring about its vernon without caring about its edition. “Edition” does not mean “the origin of printing”, and all the problems about “origin” come from “printing block”. Ancient novels have their specific features. The study of “edition” forms the basis of the study of ancient novels and is also the prenise of evaluating them historically and aesthetically.
