摘　　要：非语言交际是一种非语言行为的过程,目的是为了表达自己的思想或领会别人的意图。其交际形式多样,功能意义重要。在小说《牛虻》中,作者应用多种形式的非语言交际来刻画主人公牛虻等人物的性格与心理,暗示人物之间复杂微妙的关系,这些形式有:声音、眼神、面部表情、人的动作等,特别是手的动作以及人的衣着,随身用品和环境描写。Nonverbal communication is a process of nonverbal act. Its purpose is to express oneself or understand the other party＇s intention. Nonverbal communication has many communication forms. In the novel of “The Gadfly”, the author uses many nonverbal communication forms to describe the personality and mentality of the hero-the Gadfly. , and to suggest their complex and subtle relationship. These forms are ： tone, eye movement, facial expression, body actions, clothing , personal belongings and the description of one＇s environment.
