摘　　要：标记理论是结构主义语言学理论之一,现在已经应用于几乎所有语言学领域以及其他人文社会科学领域。追溯标记理论的思想和分析标记概念的判定标准及其主要的问题,然后结合标记概念的几个特征,从词汇、语法、文化三个层面,分析杨宪益夫妇和霍克斯的《红楼梦》英译文本各自标记性的主要翻译思想与文化翻译策略。The theory of markedness, part of the structuralistic linguistics, raised by the Plague School, has already been applied into all linguistic fields and other areas of the humanities. This paper traces its main thoughts back to the past and states the criteria of judging the markedness and discusses other issues. With the characteristics discussed above, from three aspects of lexicon, grammar and culture, concrete examples from the two English versions of Hongloumeng by Yang Hsien - yi and David Hawkes are given to elaborate their respective concepts of translation with the markedness and different strategies that they trend to use in translation of culture.
