摘　　要：英语民族在同汉民族的接触过程中,借入了一些汉语词汇。这些词汇主要来自中华文化、生活习俗和地理概貌三个方面。从英语的汉语借词中,我们可以窥察出英汉两个民族文化接触的历史轮廓。In their contact with Chinese-speaking group, English-speaking group have borrowed some lexicons from the Chinese language. The lexicons mainly involve the aspects of Chinese culture, living customs and geographical features. The Chinese loan words seem to manifest a brief history of the cultural contact between the two groups.
