顺应自然的古市政与古建筑艺术——名城镇远的人文生态环境小议

摘　　要：被列为中国历史文化名城的贵州镇远县城,在古代是一个水路运输便利、地势狭窄却很险要的军事重镇,其古代市政建设及其古建筑的最大特点就是不开不劈、不斧不削,依山就势、依水就势,因地制宜、顺应自然,把几千年累累叠加的中国古代文化、近代文化凡需要占据空间的所有“硬件”都一股脑儿地装进了这块弹丸之地的“百宝箱”里。如是也就有了不落俗套、不守成规的世所罕见的古建筑群落。没有顺应自然的建筑策略和举措,就没有镇远古城的独特美感;这跟文学艺术诸门类正是在克服自身局限的基础上造就自身的独特艺术魅力的道理一样。Town of Zhenyuan County, which is classified as one of China＇s historic cities, was once an important military town. In the past it was a narrow and strategical place and was convenient for water transportation. The great feature of its ancient city planning and the constructions is to build without cutting or paring the rocks of the mountain, but to build according to the shapes of the hill and the flowing water, adapting to locality and the nature. All “hardware” that takes space, the Chinese ancient and modem cultures which were deposited in the past thousands of years, is entirely stuffed into the “treasury” of this very small bit of land. Hence infrequent groups of ancient buildings beyond outmoded conventions and customs came into being. Without the strategy and action of the conforming to nature there is no special aesthetic feeling of the ancient town of Zhenyuan. The charm of the specific artistic principle is the same as that of literature and art, which build up themselves on the basis of overcoming their own limitation.
