摘　　要：北京话的轻声和轻音是两种不同的语音现象。例如:指老聃的"‘老子"后字读轻音,跟"′哪里"、"′打手"、"′想法"的声调模式和重音模式完全一样;但它跟后字读轻声的指父亲的"老·子"读音不同,意思也不同。汉语拼音注音不加区分,容易造成不便和误会。Neutral tone and weak stress in Beijing Mandarin are different kinds of phonetic phenomena. For example,the latter syllable of Laozi,Laodan is uttered with weak stress,with its pattern of tone and stress totally the same as nali,dashou,and xiangfa. Yet it pronounces and means differently from the neutral tone of the latter syllable of laozi father.The transcription of the Chinese Phonetic Alphabet does not distinguish one from another, thus easily leading to inconveniences and misunderstandings.
