摘  要:F illmore的框架语义学把语言学引导到对基础信息的分析上,并涵盖所有相关的信息。框架是知识或者连贯经验图式的具体统一的构架,是认知结构编码于词汇中的预设知识。原来作为语言学建构的框架理论现在获得了认知上的再阐释。运用框架理论分析美国媒体关于“9.11”事件的新闻报道,可知对框架理论的研究有助于从理论上深刻理解新闻媒体的政治影响以及官方、媒体和大众之间的关系。Fillmore views frames not as an additional means for organizing concepts, but as a fundamental rethinking of the goals of linguistic semantics. Fillmore's frame semantics brings linguistic semantics back to that primary data-understanding and does not exclude any of it from consideration. Frames are specific unified frameworks of knowledge, or coherent schematizations of experience, and are presupposed knowledge encoded in words by cognitive structures. While originally conceived as linguistic constructs, frames have now received a cognitive re-interpretation. This article attempts to apply this re-interpretation to the analysis of the US major media coverage of September 11 Event so as to gain an insight into the political influence of the news media and into the relationship among government, media and the public.
