摘　　要：“交”字的甲骨文形体为人的正面形。“交”一词的发生和燎祭文化相关,“交”一词的本义当为:在燎祭仪式的焚人活动中充当被焚之人,并成为进行祭祀的人和祭祀对象的上天之间起交通作用的中介。This paper explains the form meaning of Jiaguwen Jiao （交） and its form meaning is the front view of a person. The occurrence of the word Jiao （交） is related with burning worship. The original meaning of the word Jiao （交） is a burned person in the man - burning activities of burning worship who becomes a communicating medium between the people carrying on worship and the heaven as a worshiped object.
