摘 要:分水岭变换是一种有效的图像分割方法,但存在过分割现象,尽管应用预平滑处理可以减轻或消除过分割,但却容易使分割后的区域轮廓发生位置偏移,为此,文中首先对图像进行形态学梯度变换,然后运用粘性形态学运算对梯度图像进行地貌修正,在消除产生过分割的非规则局部极小值的同时,保持区域轮廓的位置不变,最后在梯度修正图像的基础上,运用标准分水岭变换实现图像分割。仿真实验表明,该方法不仅能有效地消除过分割,而且具有较强的区域轮廓定位能力。Watershed transform is an efficient way to segment image; however, it often results in over-segmentation. Usually, smoothing pre-filtering is adopted to avoid over-segmentation, but the positions of the segmented regional contours may be incorrect. For the purpose of segmenting image without over-segmentation and without position errors of regional contours, a method for watershed segmentation is proposed based on viscous morphological gradient modification. First, original image is transformed by morphological gradient transform, and then viscous morphological operators with structure elements of different sizes are used to modify the relief surface of gradient image; after modification, most irregular local minimums caused by details and noise are removed, while positions of regional contours are not or slightly changed due to the less modification of the high gradient levels. Finally, standard watershed transform is employed to implement segmentation on the basis of modified gradient image. Experiments show that this method not only effectively avoids the over-segmentation of watershed, but also preserves the positions of regional contours.
