摘　　要：川端康成是擅长刻画女性形象的作家。从战前到战后,他笔下的女性形象发生了很大变化,其突出表现之一是身份和地位不同了。战前主要描写的是处于社会底层的卑贱者,是她们在生死存亡线上的痛苦挣扎,她们的感受,她们的美;而战后则更多描写的是处于社会中层的中小资产者,是她们在感情生活世界里的矛盾痛苦,她们的感受,她们的美。这种变化是与作家本人经历的改变密切相关的。Yasunari Kawabata excels in the portrayal of feminine images. From prewar to postwar, the feminine images in his writing have changed a lot. The changes of their identities and status are among the most prominent. In his prewar literature, he mainly describes humble women at the bottom of the society, their painful struggles, their feelings and their peculiar beauty. In his postwar literature, he mostly depicts female middle and petty bourgeoisie at the middle level of the society, the conflicts in their emotional world, their feelings and their special beauty. This kind of change is closely related to the writer' personal experience.
