村民教育投资是缩小还是扩大城乡差别

摘　　要：当教育对提高国民素质和劳动效率从而对国民经济发展具有重要的积极意义时,有人认为教育对于缩小城乡差异就有直接决定作用。作者在文中没有找到支持这种观点的证据。相反,作者发现,教育只会加剧城乡差异、加速农村优秀劳动力的外流,农户教育投资成为城市圈取农村资金的又一种有效方式。因此在增加对农村基础教育投资的同时,国家应大力发展农村经济,改善农村公共卫生,增加农村就业机会,提高农村居民的工作报酬,使农村具备挽留优秀人才的条件。Someone thinks that education has an immediately dominant effect on narrowing the gas between the city and the rural area, because the education plays an important part in promoting cultural level and productivity of the country, so that it gives the great power to the development of national economy. The author of this article fails to find the evidence to support the mentioned idea. On the contrary, the author has found that the education merely makes the gas bigger and accelerates the out-flow of the rural elite to the city. In fact, the farmers investment in the chilideren＂ education is a way by which cities have drawn more money out of the limited capitals of the country.
