摘　　要：姚鼐及其所树立的桐城文派,是清代文学流派中的一大宗。有关桐城派的纷争之烈,实为前所罕有。究其故,则姚氏及其弟子意欲“举天下统为一派”、“奉桐城一先生之言”为不得移易之“家法”,实为讼争的根本原因。The School of Tongcheng founded by Yao Nai was a great literary clique in the Qing Dynasty.The controversy and the disputes concerning this school were exceedingly enormous.The basic reason of these arguments were due to Yao Nai and his disciples sticking to their unchangeable 'domestic discipline'.
