摘　　要：遗传算法是一种自适应启发式全局搜索概率算法,在很多学科中都得以应用。介绍了遗传算法的基本原理,指出了它的特点,论述了它在故障诊断中的应用现状,并对遗传算法在故障诊断中的前景提出了展望。Genetic Algorithms is an adaptive global searching algorithm with heuristic method. It has been used in many fields. This paper introduces a principle of genetic algorithms, as well as the advantage, discuss the use in the fault diagnosis field, at last this paper forecast the advance of GA in the fault diagnosis field.
