摘 要:常规关系是事物自身的关系经过认知的折射,成为把握语言的认知工具。常规关系运用于听力教学不仅有助于培养学生的准确理解听力的能力,也有助于培养学生的听力预测能力,进而能够提高其听力水平。Stereotypical relations are the relations inherent in things themselves, and they could, through the cognitive rsfraction, be turned into a cognitive instrument in the process of language use. When applied in English listening teaching, stereotypical relation theory can be very helpful to improve students' exact listening comprehensibility as well as their listening predictability. This paper mainly deals with the application of this theory in English listening teaching from four aspects: to develop students' cognitive ability of cultural vocabulary' s stereotypical relation; to develop students' cognitive ability of English - Chinese sentence structures' stereotypical relation model; to grasp the cultural thought model in context and construct the stereotypical relation model in the process of different language decoding; to develop students' stereotypical relation consciousness.
