从外籍教师的英语课透视我国大学教育的问题与弊端

摘　　要：本文从外籍教师英语教学的角度,窥视我国大学教育存在的问题和弊端,如:重应试教育,轻素质教育;目标不高,要求不严;教学内容滞后;教室设置不适合语言教学等,并就这些问题提出了一些具体的解决办法:中外教师同授一门课、共同建设教材;增加沟通、交流与学习的机会;改进评价机制,对学生严格要求;实行“宽进严出”的学分淘汰制等。This paper attempts to point out some problems and shortcomings regarding university education in China, which occur in foreign teachers＇ classroom teaching. The problems are： too much stress is given to examination- oriented education and too little to students＇ qualification education; foreign teachers are strict while Chinese counterparts are not; textbooks and teaching materials are out of date; classroom desks and chairs are not suitable for language teaching and learning. This paper proceeds to put forward some possible solutions to the above problems.
