摘　　要：Neurocysticercosis is a major public health problem in many developing countries in Asia and has a profound impact on productivity, health, economy, and quality of life. It is endemic in Nepal and is the commonest parasitic infestation of the central nervous system, caused by larvae of the tapeworm Taenia solium. Neurological manifestations vary from a simple chronic headache to life threatening meningoencephalitis depending on the location and number of the parasites in the brain.Neurocysticercosis is a major public health problem in many developing countries in Asia and has a profound impact on productivity,health,economy,and quality of life,It is endemic in Nepal and is the commonest parasitic infestationof the central nervous system,caused by larvac of the tapeworm Taenis solium.
