摘 要:随着终端用户对带宽需求持续而强烈的增长,宽带网络得到了快速的发展,传统的城域网逐渐成为宽带数据业务发展的瓶颈,传统的SDH技术已经无法适应数据业务大量增长的市场需求;城域WDM由于仅提供透明的传输通道而无法成为城域网的主流;而以IP为主的LAN网,又因为网络性能和可靠性的限制,无法直接复制和拓展到MAN和WAN网。既能满足大量数据业务传输的需求,又能避免传统SDH弱点的新型传输技术RPR出现了,本文主要讨论在RPR中如何在满足大量数据业务传输的基础上对TDM业务提供良好的支持。As bandwidth requirement has a lasting and strong growth, the broadband network has got fast development, traditional Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) becomes the bottleneck of development of broadband data service gradually, traditional SDH technology already unable to meet the fast growing market demand of data service; Metropolitan area WDM network is unable to become the mainstream of the metropolitan area network since he only offer the transparent transmission channel; And because of the restriction of the performance of the network and dependability, LAN relying mainly on IP is unable to duplicate and expand to MAN and WAM directly. A new transmission technology named RPR appeared, he can not only meet the demand of a large number of data service but also prevent the weakness of traditional SDH, this paper discusses mainly how to give a good support to TDM while there is a large amount of data service in RPR.
