摘　　要：中国在有害生物综合治理已有的工作基础上,于1988年参加了由联合国粮农组织(FAO)主持的IPM项目。项目通过开展一系列的农民田间学校、辅导员培训、农民研究、农民组织活动和有关的经济活动,全面提高农民的综合能力和生态意识,从而实现农民对农业生产活动的自我完善和对社区发展的自我推动的总体目标。中国在IPM项目的实施中,以新的参与式发展理论为指导,确立了“以人为本”的发展思路,并通过长期的探索,建立起了符合中国实际的现代农业项目参与式发展模式。China took part in the implementation of IPM programs funded by FAO since 1998. These programs carried out a series of activities, such as farmer field school, training of trainers, and farmer participatory studies. These activities improved farmer＇s ecological knowledge and comprehensive capacities, helped farmers realize self-optimization and selfdevelopment of their communities. Based on participatory development theories, China established a development model which is people first and Chinese adaptive development of modern agricultures.
