摘　　要：“广州英语”是中英通商导致的洋泾浜英语,它是中英语言接触的产物。作为当时中外通商的通用语言,“广州英语”的使用者具有鲜明的职业性特点,这些使用者基本上都与对外贸易、服务业有关。Canton English is Pidgin English resulting from Sino-UK trade,It is a product of the contact of the Chinese and English languages.Speakers of Canton English which is commonly used in foreign trading,are of distinctively professional characteristics,i.e.its speakers are basically engaged in foreign trades and service trades.
