摘　　要：文章简要介绍了H.264标准压缩编码的关键技术和视频压缩性能与复杂性共同优化的相关理论,并通过对H.264参考程序编码性能及其复杂性进行测试,研究了压缩性能和运算复杂性之间的关系,为I帧周期、参考帧数量和量化参数等的选择提供了依据。A brief introduction to the key technologies of the H. 264 standard and a theory about performance and complexity joint optimization for video coding were proposed in the paper. Then the relation between performance and complexity was studied with the simulation results from H. 264 reference program, which offers reference for selecting Intra frame period, number of reference frames and quantization parameter.
