摘　　要：基于一手资料并参考有关历史文献,本文介绍李待琛博士(189l-1959)作为湖南大学首任校长(1926.2-1926.7),他的教育思想和科学思想。特别是他关于武器装备设计方面的科学管理言论和业绩。文章还对他在这些领域的创新成就给出简要的评论。Based on the first-hand materials the author collected and the collections by other people, this paper makes an introduction to Dr. Li Daichen （1891-1959）, the first president （1926.2-1926.7） of Hunan University. This paper studies his educational thoughts and scientific thoughts, especially his words and deeds with regard to the design and manufacture of weapons and implementation of scientific management. The paper finally gives a brief comment on his innovative achievements in those fields.
