摘　　要：《中国新时期小说主潮》是一部中国现当代文学研究领域富有探索性、创造性和纵深性的小说史专著;该论著在“现代性”视点的透视下,清晰地揭示出诸多文学思潮和现象在转型期的本质特征和历史作用;同时注重对作家心态和变化心理的重视,并努力发掘作家主体的文化心理对文学史研究的重要意义。Main Tendency of Chinese Novels in the New Era is a book of fiction history with qualities of exploration, creation and a profound message. From the angle of ＂modernist quality＂, the treatise clearly bring to light the nature and historical role of many literary ideological trends and phenomena in the transition period. Meanwhile, the treatise emphasizes the writers＇ state of mind and changing mentality and try its best to explore the important significance, i.e. writers＇ culture mentality as main body which plays the role in researches into literature history.
