摘　　要：本文系统总结了20世纪80年代因中国旅游业的兴起,地球科学界为旅游业服务而创立的一门新兴边缘学科———旅游地学20年来的成长历程、学科内涵、主要研究成果、工作成果及其对中国旅游业贡献,并展望了旅游地学的责任、任务和光明的发展前景。With the rise of China＇s tourism.industry in the 80s of 20th century, a new diseipline --tourism earth-science was created serving tourism industry. The paper systematically summarizes its developing course, discipline connotation, main study results and its contribution to China＇ s tourism industry and looks forward to its obligation, task and bright prospect.
