摘　　要：本文介绍了当今城市交通信号控制的重要性,在现今自适应交通信号控制方法的基础上进行改进,增加了GPS车载设备。这将会是智能交通研究的主要方向。本文重点介绍了这种基于GPS/GPRS智能交通信号控制系统的组成、功能、系统工作原理和研究发展方向。This paper introduced importance of recent city transportation signal control, pointing out to control from the orientation transportation signal and GPS vehicle equipment, which are an investigative and main method in transportation in intelligence. It discussed constitution, function, system principle, and development direction of this intelligent transportation signal control system based on GPS/GPRS.
