摘  要:颅颌骨缝是颌面部的生长活跃区。骨缝的生长改建主要依赖于成骨细胞的增殖和分化。近年来,细胞凋亡的作用受到关注。细胞凋亡以与细胞有丝分裂相反的方式,清除受损伤的或衰老无用的细胞,保持细胞死亡和增殖的平衡。研究表明,在颅颌骨缝的形成和正常生长发育中,成骨细胞凋亡起着重要的调节作用。骨缝组织的改建离不开机械力刺激,应力不仅调控成骨细胞的增殖和分化,也影响成骨细胞的凋亡。本文主要对成骨细胞凋亡在颅颌骨缝改建中的作用及其相关基因调控机制进行综述。Bone initiation and later modeling in craniofacial sutures contribute directly to the growth and modification of craniofacial complex. Sutures are primary sites of osteoblast proliferation and differentiation. Osteoblasts also undergo apoptosis, an important developmental mechanism whereby cells are removed to control the rate of osteogenesis. Recent findings indicated that osteoblast apoptosis is integral to craniofacial suture morphogenesis and development. Disturbance in the regulation of apoptotic activity has been demonstrated to play an important role in craniosynostosis. The bone remodeling in craniofacial suture also depends on external mechanical cues. Mechanical strain has a stimulating effect on osteoblast activity, while at the same time impacts on the biology of apoptosis. The process of osteoblast apoptosis can be modulated by various growth factors, cytokines and signaling molecules produced in the suture microenvironment. Clarifying the signal transduction pathway by which mechanical forces regulate the related gene expression, the cell apoptosis and ultimately the bone remodeling in the sutures is thus fundamental to manipulating craniofacial growth.
